Solidoodle 3 Upgrades

Since we’ve got another printer working, it makes sense to make some fixes to correct the minor problems with the SD3 printer.  It’s built like a tank, but needs some TLC to fix up a few items that prevent it from being a better printer.

The rough list of things I plan on doing, not particularly in any order:

• Replace the heated bed heating pad.
• Replace the controller board.
• Add an LCD and control buttons to the controller.
• Replace the hot end and thermistor.

As I fix one thing, the next needed repair will become obvious.  I’ll add sub-pages to this one as work slowly proceeds.
