Hardware Used During Repairs
This isn’t a very exciting page, but I wanted to keep notes on exactly which parts were used during various repairs of the antenna system.
Tower
Replaced the original winch with a Fulton 2550 winch, which is what US Tower now uses by default. US Tower quoted me over $600 for this, but I bought it at E-Trailer.com for about $150. The mounting holes are identical to the original K-1500 winch so it is an easy replacement.
Nuts/bolts to secure the winches (both of them) to the tower and raising fixture:

Element tips: 0.375″ tubing (DXEngineering.com) purchased in 6′ lengths.
- 20 meter driven element: 40″. Telescope so 35.25″ inches remain.
