Once the HO layout was sold, it wasn’t much fun working on the outdoor layout in the winter so my daughter and I decided to build an N scale layout for indoors.  The track plan is closely based on an N scale layout my brother John had build for me around 1970.

This is Mrs. Leffler’s house, with her proud flower garden.  My maternal grandmother, Mrs. Leffler, liked her flower garden so I wanted to include it.  This is nothing like her house, but that doesn’t matter.

The big yellow building in the background is for the G gauge layout outside.  The slight hill in the distance was fun, as there are people hiking and camping, deer, and other “wild” things.
