Medications

Like every other cancer patient, I have been on a boatload of medications.  A partial list of drugs I’m either on now or have been in the past:

• Benzonatate
• Bumetanide
• Carvedilol
• Cyclobenzaprine
• Levofloxacin
• Lisinopril
• Mycophenolate
• Prochlorperazine
• Tamsulosin
• Ursodiol

There are a lot more, but this is a start of the list.

As I’ve said already, the doctors know far more about my conditions than I do, so while I ask what the medications are for, I never refuse a treatment.  Nor do I say “I saw an ad on TV for such-and-such medicine, can you prescribe that?”  My wife and I get a luach when I’m prescribed something that has ads on TV.
